Every once in awhile, I recall the amount of frustration I had when setting up this blog. Specifically, getting the traffic monitor to properly work. You would think I would follow the site statistics more frequently, considering how many headaches I got setting them up. Nope. It’s a once every 6 months sort of thing.

Here are the most recent searches that brought traffic to my site. Always good for a chuckle.

“Lady of Leisure blog” Maybe I should cut back on the posts announcing my lack of employment. Dan might appreciate not having a constant reminder that he is the sole provider for our household and we don’t even have kids or any reason for my lack of a job.

“best items received by complaining” Everything, my friend. The squeaky wheel gets the new shoes…or something like that.

“I’m like popeye” I’m not sure what this person was looking for exactly. Confirmation of a statement? A shirt to match his muscles? A group for spinach addicted bloggers? I hope he or she found whatever they were looking for. It was obviously not on my blog because they only spent 7 seconds on the site.

“guccigirl warcraft” I’m hoping this means there is a WOW player out there who is outfitting her characters with contemporary fashion styles. However, I don’t think a pair of slingbacks would be very appropriate for late night raids through caverns. Lack of arch support and all that.

“klick pet training” From the stories on this blog, it is pretty obvious that we are not good at training our pets. The site visitor thought so too. They only spent 12 seconds on the post about the dogs farting.

“ninja skills I have them” Well, duh. Of course you would come to this site for that.

“aka I ninja” The word ninja pops up in the statistics a lot. My skills are legendary.

“ninja skills for Christmas” I wish I could impart my wisdom to you, little one. Ninja skills are something that you feel. You can’t just learn them or buy them to stick under the Christmas tree.

“proper way of pronouncing fondant” I’d like to point out that people are coming to my site for cooking and food education. Again, my skills are legendary.

“cats will take over the world” Not “will take.” “Have taken.”

“The Klicks” You found us. Well, two of us. OK, actually only one of us and the other is just a victim silent supporter of the blog. There are others, of course. Klicks I mean, not victims of the blog. Well, besides the cats and my family and anyone who wants to learn ninja skills from me. Wait, where was I going with this?

I have automatic posts scheduled for the next few days. I know it feels like I’m cheating you guys because my sparkling wit isn’t fresh. It will be up to 10 days old.

I’m all about expirations dates, but sometimes even I need to squint at the date and take a sniff.

I was going somewhere with that analogy and it totally escaped me.

Anyway, I am Key Wardrobe on a webisode that David is first Assistant Director on. It’s all about who you know in this industry. I hit him up for contacts when I decided to branch out into film crew and he worked his magic in just 6 hours.

That’s what she said.

So I got a call from the producer as sort of a mock interview. I expected to be the wardrobe assistant but this guy has more confidence in my skills than I do. It didn’t matter to him that I have never worked on a film set before. We went along in the interview, me expecting him to offer me an assistant position and him ending the call with “great. I’ll tell David to list you as Key Wardrobe. Talk to you soon. Bye.”

At this point, I’m confused because I don’t even know what Key Wardrobe is, let alone what my job functions are. Thankfully David gave me a crash course that night. In exactly 3 hours, he managed to describe almost everything that will happen on set and what my job responsibilities are. He also managed to find me an assistant who is also a theatre costumer, not a film wardrober. It’s the blind leading the blind.

On top of all this, I am working with a new store in the valley to teach scrapbooking/card making classes and we’re going over class schedules all this week to nail everything down. So I finally had to suck it up, admit personal scheduling defeat and write some automatic blog posts.

Blame Tartraz. She’s the one that pointed out how I sometimes (very, very rarely of course) get in over my head with the amount of things I commit to. If she hadn’t pointed it out you guys could have just had a mini vacation from my rambling. I hope the blog posts are up to your expected quality level. If not, ignore the posts and go visit Sockington. He always manages to bring hours of amusement.

That’s what she said. <-I write my own jokes.

It’s happened! I started a company!

After much prodding from Dan, I finally decided to start an online business. My store features papercrafting supplies, handmade cards, digital announcements and will soon feature a line of acrylic stamps!

I have lots more to talk about and discuss, but for now I must hurry off and work on uploading some more products. Pretty soon there will be lots more in the store including Bazzill Basics, Stampavie, Page Pebbles, alterable tins, templates and lots more cards and gifts!

Special thanks to Jen for agreeing to offer her services as a digital announcement/invitation designer for the site. Special thanks to Mom for harrassing me with emails about when she could start buying stuff. And last but not least, special thanks to Dan. He has supported me emotionally and financially throughout all of this, encouraging me when I was frustrated and helping me through it everytime I mentally hit the wall.
